free family days
On the first Saturday of each month, the Art Center offers an array of free family-friendly activities:
- Hands-On Art Activities. In the third floor studios, children and families can participate in art projects that are designed to relate to the exhibitions on view at the Art Center.
- Arts Interact. Special docent-led tours of the exhibitions designed to spark conversation between children and family members.
- Family Guides. Information on the exhibition along with questions and discussion topics for children and parents.
FREE ADMISSION: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm • HANDS ON ART ACTIVITIES: 1:00 – 4:00 pm
March 6 - Northern Clay Center Claymobile
Exercise your creative side and create colorful clay tiles or pinch pots. All ages and abilities welcome! Projects will be fired at Northern Clay Center and available for pickup after March 26.
April 3 - Be Dazzled
Using cardboard tubes, glitter and a variety of sparkling gems, create your own psychedelic kaleidoscope.
