As the seasons change, our team at the Rochester Art Center is embracing the opportunity to feel the warmth of the sun, the lengthening of the day and the opportunity to stretch ourselves forward for another year of growth and advancement.

We’re continuing to build out new working relationships with Mayo Clinic and our community in our current exhibition, as well as the Science Museum of Minnesota with Mental Health: Mind Matters, an exploration of mental health. We’re augmenting this exhibit with local art in our show Making it OK: Art, Bravery and Mental Health. Later this Autumn, we’re welcoming Northern Lights’ 10th annual Art(ists) On the Verge . Throughout the year, our ROOTED program features regional artists across a variety of visual arts in a program funded by the Southeast Minnesota Arts Council (SEMAC).

Alongside the buzz of new exhibitions, we’ve focused on stabilizing our finances, grounding ourselves in a
fundamental commitment to develop a sustainable business model. By reducing expenses, sharpening
our focus and making strategic investments we are contributing to a brighter fiscal outlook, allowing us to
program more confidently and assuredly. Our working relationships with the City and other allied arts
organizations continues to develop positively, and we anticipate even greater progress over the next few

Your gifts and contributions have brought us increased financial stability and a base from which to program
and activate RAC with success and increased confidence. As we continue to develop, we know that the
path forward is not simple nor easy. We remain grateful and reliant upon your involvement, engagement
and financial support as we make our way forward.

As a former or current donor, won’t you consider keeping our momentum moving forward? Gaining your
trust and valuing your contributions are at the heart of our growth. What better time to help us fund and sustain ourselves with a gift to RAC?
