Connie Luedtke | Nurse Manager at Mayo Clinic

Artist Jennifer Jesseph

Experienced medical professionals have been a cornerstone of support during these trying times. Connie Ludetke is a nurse manager with over 35 years of experience, who was asked to step in to help manage COVID Triage. Helping her fellow healthcare workers with phone line based triage, and assisting with developing an online-portal triage has a leant her perspective into the anxieties of both patient and provider during the pandemic.  Though as Connie has learned about the “strength, compassion and resiliency” shown by the medical community she works with every day, there is something to be said about the infectious spirit of cooperation. A spirit that we can all take with us even in the darkest of times.

Nominated by Sue Hayes and the nursing staff of Mayo Pain Rehabilitation Center
