From Highway 52 – North or South: Take the 2nd St SW exit / Go East / Continue East on 2nd Street until it “Ts” at Civic Center Drive / Rochester Art Center is directly in front of you.

From Highway 63 (Broadway)
From the North: Turn left onto 2nd Street SE, Go East / Continue East on 2nd Street until it “Ts” at Civic Center Drive / Rochester Art Center is directly in front of you.

From the South: Turn right onto 2nd Street SE / Go East / Continue East on 2nd Street until it “Ts” at Civic Center Drive / Rochester Art Center is directly in front of you.

Parking

The Rochester Art Center is conveniently located in downtown Rochester, offering an abundance of parking options.

Mayo Civic Center Ramp

*The Mayo Civic Center parking ramp is FREE after 5pm, FREE on weekends and FREE when parking for less than an hour. The ramp entrance is located on 1st Avenue, west of Civic Center Drive, attached to the Rochester Public Library. Handicap parking is available and discounted when paying with an attendant.  Elevators are located on both sides of the ramp.

7/1/2020 *The skyway access to Rochester Art Center is closed due to Mayo Civic Center’s building closure.

Additional Parking

  • Two outdoor lots are available, Civic Center South and North Lot; daily rates vary
  • Metered parking is available on city streets near the Art Center. Meters are enforced 8am-5pm Monday –Friday. Meters are FREE after 5pm on weekdays, FREE all-day Saturdays, and all-day Sundays, and FREE on major Holidays unless otherwise listed.

Accessibility

We are fully wheelchair and stroller accessible. Handicapped parking is available in the Civic Center Parking Ramp.

Please call us at 507-282-8629 if you will be visiting and need assistance. Art Center staff will be happy to meet you at the front of the Civic Center to assist you in getting to the front doors or special arrangements can be made.

Service animals are welcome.

Biking

Bike racks are available on Riverview Plaza in front of the Rochester Art Center.
