Thank you for supporting the arts in Rochester and believing in our mission to educate, challenge and connect individuals to our world in compelling ways through art. Art is a catalyst for change and understanding – two attributes that we have all been reckoning with at a higher frequency than ever as we navigate the challenges of 2020.

While it has been a difficult year for all, the Art Center has gained time to assess, recalibrate and look optimistically toward the future. We are fervently addressing deferred maintenance, establishing an institutional archive, and maximizing the spaces throughout the building, all in an effort to elevate our practices as a museum.

The arts improve indiviual wellbeing and offer healing benefits.  We are proud to present exhibitions that directly relate to healing and wellbeing, and to host Mayo Clinic patients and their families for tours and tailored workshops. We are also humbled to have the opportunity to welcome students from the Boys & Girls Club for art activities and tours throughout this unusual school year.

More important than partnerships and improvements however, is your support. By contributing to the Art Center’s Annual Fund, you send us a message that you value arts and culture in Rochester and you want to see this nonprofit thrive. We can only do so with your help.

We also hope you will continue to engage as a regular visitor (of virtual programs or in person) and as a volunteer. If you would like to get involved, I want to hear from you directly, and I want to know how we can foster your passion for the arts. Thank you for being a valuable supporter of the Art Center.
