Public Art Walking Tour

Join Rochester Art Center docent Carrie Robinson-Cannon for a look at the public art pieces surrounding the Rochester Art Center. This outdoor walking tour will meet at 1:00 PM at the main entrance to the Art Center, door 23 of the Mayo Civic Center on the plaza. Starting with The Artist by metal sculptor Richard Brubaker and ending with Circumcenter by Po Shu Wang.
FREE to participate. If you had an excellent experience on the Rochester Art Center’s Public Art Walking Tour, please make a suggested donation of $5, $10, or $20 dollars at the main desk. We appreciate your generosity to keep programs like the Public Art Walking Tour accessible to all, regardless of income.
Fun for the entire family, we are committed to safety too – please bring a cloth face mask with you and observe social distancing as recommended by CDC guidelines. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Tours will be rescheduled in the event of snow. Many of the pieces on the tour are part of the Art4Trails program.
What is the Art4Trails program?
Art4Trails is a public art initiative to promote local artists and enhance our public parks by installing original art along the walking and bike trail system near downtown Rochester MN.
