Preston Drum

Preston Drum earned a BFA from the Memphis College of Art, and an MFA from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. His paintings, sculptures, videos, and interactive installations explore notions of memory and performance through nonlinear storytelling.

Ruth Mikos

Ruth Mikos is a contemporary painter who lives and works in Rochester, Minnesota. Her thought-provoking paintings pay homage to times gone by and the intangible nature of memory. Her distinctive personal style emits joy, nostalgia and longing for a simpler time.

Humans in The Human Scale

Visual art by dancers and dance in the context of visual art is a regular part of the programming in their home gallery HAIR+NAILS in Minneapolis.

Parking

MAYO CIVIC CENTER RAMP
FREE after 3pm, FREE on weekends and FREE when parking for under an hour. The ramp entrance is located on 1st Avenue, west of Civic Center Drive, attached to the Rochester Public Library. Handicap parking is available in front of the Mayo Civic Center.

Metered parking is available on city streets near the Art Center. Meters are FREE after 5pm on weekdays, FREE all-day Saturdays and Sundays, and FREE on major Holidays unless otherwise listed.

Accessibility

We are fully wheelchair and stroller accessible. Handicapped parking is available in front of the Mayo Civic Center. Service animals are welcome.

Art Center staff will be happy to assist you upon arrival or make special arrangements. Please call us at 507-722-2552.
