Each year, Rochester Art Center presents a wide array of contemporary art exhibitions. These exhibitions offer visitors the opportunity to connect with art by local, regional, and nationally working artists. 

Mini Golf and Chairs

November 13, 2024 - May 4, 2025

Welcome to the Rochester Art Center, where design meets play! This exhibition, curated by Zoe Cinel, features a fun mix of chairs created by world-renowned architects and a mini golf course designed by regional artists.

Southeast MN High School Art Show

February 19 - March 30, 2025

Presented by Rochester Art Center, and 15 area school districts, the annual Southeast Minnesota High School Art Show returns for its 14th year. Works by rural Southeast Minnesota area students will be on display for the public to view in the 3rd floor gallery.

Celebrations in Fiber

March 12 - March 31, 2026

Zumbro River Fiber Arts Guild presents "Celebrations in Fiber," inviting visitors to discover the artistry behind the fibers that shape our world.

Relics

March 26 - November 9, 2025

In this exhibition, Cameron Zebrun explores his deep engagement with the natural world through abstract sculpture and collage, examining geological time, environmental transformation, and humanity’s complex relationship with nature.

Moudhi Alhajri: Qatari Heritage

December 2024 - March 2025

This exhibition features photographs of Qatari people, animals, and scenery. Alhajri layers as many as six digital images to add qualities of texture and evoke a multi-sensory experience.

The Cherry Blossoms You Missed

March 29 - August 31, 2025

Rochester Art Center presents a solo exhibition of photographic works by artist Kathleen Hawkes.

Ageless Art

April 12 - May 11, 2025

COMING SOON! Ageless Art showcases the creativity of students in Rochester Public Schools. Artwork on view will represent students ranging from Kindergarten to 12th grade and include various mediums including painting, digital arts, clay arts and photography.
