Mini Golf Gallery Attendant
Temporary, Part-time (non-exempt, hourly), 6 - 18 hours per week
Wednesday-Sunday shifts and for programs and events as needed

Starting Pay: $15/hr
Duration: November 13, 2024 - May 4, 2025
Overview
Rochester Art Center is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Mini Golf Gallery Attendants for a temporary position. You will help ensure the safety and enjoyment of visitors at our artist-designed indoor mini golf course. Attendants will manage golf supplies, provide excellent customer service, and protect the integrity of the artwork throughout the exhibit.
Primary Responsibilities

Visitor Engagement: Welcome guests, provide instructions, answer questions, and ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all.

Safety: Monitor guests to ensure both their safety and the preservation of art and artist-designed mini golf installations.
​
Golf Supply Management: Distribute, collect, and maintain mini golf equipment (putters, balls, scorecards, pencils) and ensure they are in good condition.
​
Incident Reporting: Report any damages, accidents or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
​
Cleaning and Maintenance: Assist with light cleaning of the mini golf course and equipment to maintain a neat and safe environment.
​
Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the mini golf course.
Qualifications
​
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Friendly, positive attitude with a focus on customer service.
- Interest in art and/or mini golf is a plus.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
Physical and Environmental Requirements of the Position
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, bend, sit, move about, hear, and speak.
Ability to communicate in person, by radio, electronically, and over the phone.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
